Surfing is on so many bucket lists. It is fun to get new students on the right track to enjoy a life of surfing when they vacation or if they are local. We want beginners to get comfortable in the ocean and master the techniques that will allow them to progress from foam waves to real waves and soft tops to short boards if that is their desire.
Everyone learns at their own pace and so patience is the real gift new students appreciate. Most people have a little apprehension when entering the ocean with a surfboard, so moving slowly and at the person’s own pace is the most productive. The idea is to fall in love with surfing and learn how to practice correctly on one’s own.
Oceanside is a great place to learn because it has good foam and real waves. A good student can move from foam to real waves in one lesson, but most take three or four lessons. People who live in Oceanside or visit every year learn a new healthy recreation and are very appreciative. Their thanks is our Mission.
